- Scanned Images: When you scan product ingredients, images are processed for analysis only. We do not permanently store your photos.
- Anonymous Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data (app opens, features used, crash reports) to improve the experience. This data cannot identify you personally.
- Device Information: OS version and device model for compatibility and debugging purposes.
Data We Don't Collect
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
- Location data - Qibla direction uses device sensors only, no GPS data is sent to our servers
- Contact information or social profiles
- Payment or financial information
Product Cache
When you scan a product, the extracted text and analysis result may be cached on our servers to improve future scans of the same product. This cache does not contain any personal information.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Azure Application Insights: For anonymous crash reporting and performance monitoring.
- Google AdMob: For displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission. Anonymous analytics data is stored securely in Microsoft Azure data centers.
Children's Privacy
Our app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
